Membership
Membership means you are entered in every draw of the cycle without having to buy again each month. It is optional, it is started and ended by you, and it runs entirely on the Raffle Nexus platform.
How to cancel
Email support@lwdhospitalfoundation.ca and ask to cancel your membership.
Cancellation takes effect immediately. No future orders are created and a confirmation is sent to you by email. If you cancel after the current draw has already been charged, the cancellation applies from the next draw.
There is nothing else to do, and no notice period.
How the subscription works, step by step
-
You opt in at checkout
A membership is created only when you tick the opt-in checkbox on the Raffle Nexus order page. Nothing is started for you automatically, and buying a single ticket never creates a subscription.
-
You choose the amount
The pack you choose sets the amount that is charged for every later draw. The list of draws your membership covers is provided when you enrol.
-
The stored card is charged each month
The payment method you stored on the vendor platform is charged automatically for every subsequent draw, until you cancel. Your card details are held by the vendor; they are never handled or stored by this website.
-
You cancel whenever you want
One email to support@lwdhospitalfoundation.ca ends it, effective immediately.
What members get
- Member-only bonus draws. Some months include a bonus draw open only to members — for example the bonus draw of 2 × $500 on 14 May 2027.
- An extra $500 on an Early Bird win. If an Early Bird winner is an active member, they receive $500 on top of the Early Bird prize.
- Every draw covered. You stay entered without having to remember a deadline.
The rules that apply
- Every member confirms agreement with the Rules of Play.
- Enrolment is available in Ontario only and is geofenced.
- The way to cancel is disclosed on the order form and in every subscription email.
- Subscriptions with failed or invalid payments are cancelled automatically.
- A subscription remains in force until you cancel it.
- Membership is managed on the Raffle Nexus platform, not on this website.
Rule 17 of the Rules of Play sets these terms out in full.
Before you enrol
A subscription keeps charging until you stop it
That is the point of it, but it is worth planning for. Decide what you are comfortable spending each month before you enrol, and treat it the way you would any other recurring payment.
If a recurring charge ever stops feeling comfortable, cancel it and come back another time. See Responsible Gambling for practical advice and free, confidential support.
Membership questions
How do I start a membership?
Tick the opt-in checkbox on the Raffle Nexus checkout when you buy a ticket pack. There is no separate sign-up on this website.
Can I change the amount I am charged?
Email support@lwdhospitalfoundation.ca. Your existing subscription is cancelled and you enrol again at the pack you want.
My card has expired. What happens?
Subscriptions with failed or invalid payments are cancelled automatically. Enrol again with the new card at the Raffle Nexus checkout.
Can I enrol from outside Ontario?
No. Enrolment is geofenced to Ontario. You must be 18 or older and physically in Ontario when you enrol and when each order is created.
Do subscription payments give me a tax receipt?
No. Tax receipts cannot be issued for lottery ticket purchases, including subscription payments. Donations are different — see the Donate page.
